The UK government has appointed North East Bedfordshire MP Richard Fuller as economic secretary to the Treasury, replacing John Glen.

Glen resigned last week as a swathe of ministers abandoned Prime Minister Boris Johnson in the wake of the sexual misconduct scandal surrounding former deputy chief whip Chris Pincher.
