The British Insurance Brokers Association (Biba) has used its annual manifesto to call for “effective scrutiny” of the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) growth and competitiveness objective.

Biba also emphasised the need for the sector to better meet the needs of the modern UK economy and called for better flood resilience, as well as improved fire safety in multi-occupancy buildings.
