Air Lease lands $64.9mn settlement from insurer for craft stranded in Russia

Air Lease Corporation has received a settlement from insurers of $64.9mn for four aircraft stranded in Russia due to the Ukraine conflict.

The lessor announced that the settlement related to three A320-200 and one A321-200 aircraft in the company’s owned fleet on lease to S7 at the time of Russia’s invasion.
