PPL apologises for performance issues on Next Gen platform in run up to 1.1

PPL has apologised for “intermittent performance issues” on its Next Gen platform in the midst of the busy 1 January renewal period, in a statement to this publication.

This came after sources said that the problems had disrupted placements, with some having to ask carriers to hold deals over email before formal documentation was in place and others resorting to paper-based transactions.
