Specialist marine MGA Amphitrite Underwriting London has appointed David Harris as non-executive chair, effective 1 January.

Insurance industry veteran Harris has held several senior roles at firms including RSA, Axa, Amlin and Argo.

Most recently, he stepped back from his role as group head of performance at Argo in March 2020.
