The property line of business presents the greatest opportunity for the Lloyd’s market in 2024 from a pure underwriting perspective, as a need for capacity continues in the class, according to Lloyd’s chief of markets Patrick Tiernan.

The executive said in a press conference following the Lloyd’s Q3 market message that the property line “continues to need capacity” and there was “a lot of discipline” amongst underwriters.
