Generali posted a P&C operating profit of EUR2.2bn ($2.4bn) in the first nine months of 2023, a 50% increase on the prior-year period.

The carrier reported a P&C combined ratio of 94.3%, a 3.1-point improvement on the prior-year period, driven, in turn, by an improvement in the loss ratio.
