Verisk has estimated that industry insured losses from Winter Storm Ciarán will be in the range EUR800mn-EUR1.3bn ($854mn-$1.38bn).

The bulk of the losses relate to damage in France, where Ciarán’s impact was most pronounced in the northwest, mainly Brest.
