Global marine insurance premiums totalled $35.8bn in 2022, an 8.3% uplift on the prior year, according to the latest International Union of Marine Insurance (Iumi) Stats Report.

The report noted that, overall, marine insurance results appear to indicate growth, which Iumi welcomed after a prolonged period of negative returns.
