Lloyd’s has announced a 10-year programme of initiatives designed to improve progress for black and ethnically diverse individuals in the workplace, as new research has been released on the insurance market’s historical links to the transatlantic slave trade.

The digital research exhibit, Underwriting Souls, has been released by the academic group Black Beyond Data, based at Johns Hopkins University.
