Howden-owned MGA Dual has hired Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) executive underwriter David Harries as its group director of underwriting, as group CUO Alan Telford plans to step down, this publication can reveal.

Dual confirmed the hire, adding that Harries is to start in January 2024 and work closely with Telford, who is to leave the business next summer.
