$1bn gas ship leads initial marine exposure assessments to Israeli conflict

A gas production and processing vessel insured in the marine war market for $1bn is the largest single exposure initially flagged by marine war underwriters as they digest the potential impact of the conflict in Israel, sources told this publication.

The floating production storage offloading (FPSO) ship Energean Power is operating in the Karish gas field, moored 80 km off the coast of Israel.
