The former owners of AFL Insurance Brokers, Bob and Alec Finch, have been found guilty of fraud, in addition to all other charges in a lawsuit brought against them by former Cooper Gay CEO Toby Esser, in a damning judgement handed down today.

The Finches have been ordered to pay a combined total of £6.1mn to Esser’s acquisition vehicle Next Generation Holdings (NGHL), and AFL itself (now trading as Ambon Brokers), due to fraudulent reporting of AFL’s accounts just before the Finches...
