“Sabrina’s extensive industry experience and strong underwriting acumen, coupled with her proven leadership ability and collaborative nature, make her uniquely qualified to guide MRSI moving forward,” said former CEO Michael Kerner upon her appopintment in April this year. “I have had the pleasure of working with Sabrina throughout her career and have tremendous confidence in her ability to lead the growth and development of our specialty P&C businesses within MRSI.”

Hart joined MRSI in 2022 as President, Excess and Surplus Lines (E&S). Prior to her tenure at MRSI, she spent 25 years with a major global insurance carrier, the last seven years as Executive Vice President, Midwest Region. She also held senior leadership positions with several other industry-leading carriers and brokers.

Hart is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, and completed the Executive Management Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She was selected as a “Woman to Watch” by Business Insurance in 2013 and was inducted into Insurance Business America’s Insurance Hall of Fame in 2020.
