Altamont-backed broking start-up Augment has hired former Aon UK COO and Aon Benfield UK chair David Ledger to a senior role, this publication can reveal.

Ledger has joined the business as a senior adviser and board member. The executive stepped down from his twin roles at Aon in March 2018, after more than 20 years with the business.
