IAG reports $4.5bn in claims related to Greensill collapse

Insurance Australia Group (IAG) has 20 separate claims totalling around A$7bn ($4.48bn) relating to the collapse of Greensill, according to its H1 results.

Greensill Capital became insolvent in 2021, precipitated by the withdrawal of its trade credit insurance coverage by Tokio Marine subsidiary Bond and Credit Company (BCC).
