Marsh denies liability in $143mn White Oak lawsuit

Marsh has denied liability in a lawsuit in which US finance group White Oak is claiming the intermediary should have provided certain information on the predicament of Greensill – the collapsed supply chain finance firm for which Marsh previously acted as broker.

The suit, brought in London by White Oak’s European arm, alleges Marsh failed to pass on crucial information regarding problems with the collapsed firm’s trade credit insurance coverage.
