Insurers are seeing the "best underwriting conditions in a decade" according to Lancashire group CEO Alex Maloney, who expects the favourable hard-market dynamics to continue.

Maloney told analysts on an earnings call that, as Lancashire has seen "little ill discipline in the marketplace or new capital entering”, he expects underwriting conditions to be favourable “for the foreseeable future”.
