Howden has appointed Amit Agarwal as CEO of Howden India, replacing Praveen Vashista, who moves to the position of chairman.

Agarwal has worked at Howden India since 2019, joining to lead the company’s liability and specialty risks practice.

Prior to that, he was a director in JLT’s financial lines and credit and political risk teams in Mumbai.
