Achmea Re halts writing third-party non-life business

Achmea Re has withdrawn from writing non-life reinsurance risks, though it will remain active in the life space, sources said.

The Dutch reinsurer acts as a group reinsurer, sourcing cover for parent Achmea and participating in some of its outwards programmes.
