The nascent cyber ILS market “feels a lot like 1997” in the cat bond market, with a series of small initial deals laying the groundwork for the future, according to Michael Millette, managing partner at Hudson Structured Capital Management.

Millette was speaking at Trading Risk’s London ILS 2023 conference today, alongside panellists in a session on growth prospects for the cyber ILS market, in light of recent cyber cat bond transactions.
