Swiss Re chairman Sergio Ermotti has been re-elected as chairman of the board of directors at the carrier’s annual general meeting (AGM), and its shareholders backed all board proposals.

Last month, it was announced that Ermotti was due to step down after the AGM and a short handover period, having been appointed UBS CEO.
