Canopius Syndicate 4444 reported gross written premiums (GWP) of £1.7bn in 2022, up from £1.41bn the previous year as its combined ratio deteriorated by one point to 96.2%.

The syndicate also posted a profit of £8.3mn for 2022, significantly down from the £33.8mn profit recorded in 2021.
