London has lost out on a share of global marine income due to a “necessary bout” of remediation, although it has been “losing the competence game” to the Scandinavian marine market, according to panellists at the Marine Insurance London conference.

Panellists discussed whether London could still consider itself a global leader in the marine market, following a steep decline in its share of global income in recent years.
