Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty’s (AGCS) recent decision to restructure its mid-corporate and large-corporate insurance businesses will enable it to attract recruits and open progression opportunities for existing underwriters, according to Chris Townsend, member of the Allianz SE board of management.

AGCS announced last week that it will operate these businesses under one strategy and market approach, using the trading name Allianz Commercial.
