Beazley CEO Adrian Cox said today that Lloyd’s-led war exclusions for state-backed cyber attacks have had a “temporary dampening effect on new business”, with a “disorderly” few months still to come.

The carrier began implementing cyber war exclusions in Q4 2022 in line with new Lloyd’s requirements as announced in August last year.
