Lloyd’s to require state-backed attack exclusions in standalone cyber policies

Lloyd’s will require all standalone cyber policies incepting or renewing after 31 March next year to include exclusions for state-backed cyberattacks.

In a market bulletin issued today, the Corporation said any policies falling within risk codes CY and CZ must include the exclusions unless otherwise agreed with Lloyd’s.
