Probitas Syndicate 1492 has booked a profit of £30.1mn ($36.3mn) for 2022, an increase of 15% on 2021 and the syndicate’s fifth successive year of profit.

The syndicate also reported a net combined ratio of 78.6% for 2022, an improvement of 0.1 points on the prior year.
