Ian and Ukraine push MS Amlin to £305mn nine-month loss in 2022

MS Amlin reported a £305mn ($369mn) net loss for the first nine months of 2022, with Hurricane Ian and Ukraine losses, as well as investment losses, all contributing to performance.

The figure compared with a net loss of £190mn in the prior-year period.

The carrier reported Ian-related losses of £159mn, losses relating to Russia and Ukraine of £101mn and investment losses of £166mn.
