Chubb Global Markets has appointed Matthew Wells from Axa XL as a marine hull underwriter as the carrier rebuilds its underwriting team.

Wells is the second recent hire for the company, with Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) underwriter Chris Turberville also due to join Chubb and lead its hull operation.
