LMG makes Axa XL UK & Lloyd’s CEO McGovern its chair

The London Market Group (LMG) has appointed Axa XL UK & Lloyd’s CEO Sean McGovern as its next chair, effective 1 January.

Outgoing chair Matthew Moore, who is also executive vice president and president of underwriting at Liberty Mutual Global Risk Solutions, will step down at the end of his three-year tenure at the LMG in December.
