Boris Johnson’s former adviser Griffith retains City minister role

City minister Andrew Griffith has retained his role and a portfolio that includes oversight of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) at a time where both watchdogs are facing major reforms.

The former Sky CFO and ex-adviser to Boris Johnson also keeps in his remit with regard to reforms to the Solvency II regime, though the Treasury is yet to announce his full responsibilities.
