The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has called on insurers and reinsurers to review their approach to risk management after a review of events during the pandemic unveiled numerous failures.

The APRA launched the review in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, in which there were a slew of claims against insurers for BI during lockdowns.
