Ageas Re builds team for launch with TMK’s Walker and Axis’s Deister

Ageas Re has appointed former Tokio Marine Kiln underwriter Jeremy Walker as CUO for property as it continues to build out ahead of its third-party reinsurance launch at 1 January.

The reinsurer has also hired Anne Deister from Axis, who will work as a senior property underwriter.

Ageas announced its planned launch into third-party reinsurance in September, as the carrier seeks to diversify its business.
