Insurers deny all allegations in Premier League Covid BI dispute

A group of insurers have denied all allegations brought against them by several Premier League football clubs, which are pursuing the companies for business interruption insurance payouts relating to closures during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a legal filing, the insurers disputed the arguments around aggregation made by the clubs, which bear close resemblance to those set out in the Stonegate case, which was heard in court in July.
