Probitas Syndicate 1492 posts combined ratio of 78.5% for H1 2022

Probitas Managing Agency’s Syndicate 1492 has reported a net combined ratio of 78.5% and an underwriting profit of £17.1mn ($20.6mn) for the first half of 2022.

Over the same period the previous year, the syndicate posted a net combined ratio of 83.6% and an underwriting profit of £9.2mn.
