Australian insurer IAG has increased its natural peril allowance post-quota share by A$144mn ($102mn), or 19%, to A$909mn for 2023.

The carrier made the disclosure in its results to August, which noted that severity and frequency of extreme weather events was higher in 2022 than previous years.
