FCA eyes progress on climate reporting, warns of misleading net-zero plans

Listed firms have made major progress in issuing climate disclosures that are consistent with international guidelines, regulators have found, but financial companies have been warned about net-zero plans.

The progress was outlined in two reports published today by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Financial Reporting Council (FRC), after a review of climate disclosures made by listed companies for 2021.
