FCA responds to just 10% of approved person applications in target time

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) responded to a mere 10% of approved person applications in its target timeframes during 2021/22, according to data on its operating service metrics.

The regulator aims to give an initial response to 85% of applications within a five-day period for what it calls controlled functions and 10 days for more senior roles.
