InsurTech Kettle is ready to deploy $100mn of parametric reinsurance and retro limit to cover California wildfire risk as of 1 July, this publication understands.

The capacity will be a combination of the firm’s own capital deployed through its Bermuda-based collateralised special purpose vehicle Kettle Re, and capacity from four to five Bermudian rated carriers.
