Aviva chair George Culmer issued a stern rebuke to shareholders at the carrier’s AGM yesterday after sexist remarks were made towards CEO Amanda Blanc and other senior women, according to reports.

Blanc, who was named CEO in summer 2020, presented to shareholders the company’s recent series of divestments as part of her ongoing efforts to streamline the business, according to the Financial Times.
