Chubb records Q1 $74mn net realised loss related to Russia asset impairment

Chubb has disclosed it recorded a $74mn pre-tax net realised loss that includes impairment of assets related to its Russian entities.

The figure was partially offset by $15mn of pre-tax unrealised gains, bringing a total net realised and unrealised loss of $58mn, according to the company’s Q1 2022 filings.
