Air Lease expects to ‘record a write-off' of entire fleet remaining in Russia

Los Angeles-based aircraft lessor Air Lease has confirmed in an SEC filing that it is “vigorously pursuing” insurance claims related to $802.4mn of stranded equipment in Russia.

The lessor confirmed it has 21 aircraft in its fleet and six managed aircraft still in Russia.

As of 31 March, the equipment still on the ground in Russia equates to 3.4%
