ECI-backed broker consolidator Clear Group has appointed Macquarie with a view to a potential 2022 sale process, this publication understands.

Sources said that preparations for a sale are at an early stage, but added the market expects the bank to ask for bids based on an Ebitda figure of more than £15mn ($19.6mn).
