AM Best has affirmed the A- (excellent) financial strength rating (FSR) of Argo Re and its subsidiaries, following a challenging couple of months for the Bermuda-based underwriter.

The agency also affirmed the long-term issuer credit ratings of A- (excellent) of Argo Re and its subsidiaries.

Additionally, other credit ratings of Argo Group entities were affirmed.
