Aviation hull war market already seeing ‘notable uplift’ in pricing: Gallagher

Underwriters in the hull war and excess third-party war markets have already begun to adopt a harder stance in pricing and terms in response to uncertainty arising from Russian sanctions and the Ukraine conflict, according to the latest edition of Gallagher’s Plane Talking report.

Prior to the uncertainty, increased capacity for hull war and excess third-party war had led to softening in the market, which was expected to continue into 2022.
