AssuredPartners makes first Irish acquisition with GMIB

US intermediary AssuredPartners has sealed its first Irish deal in an agreement to buy Killarney-based business Gallivan Murphy Insurance Brokers (GMIB).

GMIB operates throughout Ireland dealing in commercial and personal lines. It places more than EUR60mn ($65mn) in gross written premium (GWP) per year, with revenues of EUR15mn.
