FCA commits to ‘more robust’ authorisation process with hires

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has hired two directors of authorisations, while committing to a more “robust and efficient” process for managing applications, following widespread criticism.

The regulator has appointed Laura Dawes and Dominic Cashman for the director roles as it continues to fill 95 new authorisation positions.
