Optio confirms hire of The Hartford’s Robinson as managing director

Specialty MGA Optio has confirmed it has hired David Robinson, former head of international financial lines, as managing director, effective 1 March.

In an appointment first revealed by this publication in October, Robinson will oversee Optio’s underwriting, claims and data support function, reporting to executive chairman Matthew Fosh.
