Atrium posts 88% 2021 combined ratio as profits swell to £68mn

Atrium Underwriters has posted a combined ratio of 88% for 2021, with a strong underwriting performance driving profits up 24% to £68mn ($92mn). 

The managing agent for Lloyd’s Syndicate 609 saw its combined ratio drop from 93.8% the year prior, while its gross written premiums increased 12% to £711mn.
